Volunteer
By volunteering with Newmarket Cycles, you will be able to directly increase access to cycling in your neighborhood, while also learning hands-on skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Types of Volunteer Opportunities:
- Volunteer Bike Mechanic: Beginners welcome! Volunteer mechanics will receive training and supervision while collaboratively repairing participants’ bikes
- Events Volunteer: Help set up and takedown events, greet participants, assist on-site staff, and provide general cycling information to people stopping by
- Group Ride Volunteer: Explore your community while supporting our group rides as a ride marshal. First aid certification and confidence riding on typical Newmarket roads is preferred.
- Communications Volunteer: Passionate about getting the word out around Newmarket Cycles? Help spread the word on social media or by connecting with local groups and organizations.

Material Donations
We are currently looking for used or non functional bikes to facilitate programming at the hub. Your material donations will help facilitate access to bicycles through programming and provide replacements parts for those in need. Any condition of bicycle is welcome.
If you wish to drop off items, we have set up a contactless donation method where bikes can be dropped off anytime. Please email mvarela@cleanairpartnership.org for more info.
Material donations are not eligible for a tax receipt.
