September 28, 2022 at 4:00 pm 5:00 pm

On Wednesday, September 28th, from 4-5 pm, David Simor (TCAT Director) is facilitating a webinar and virtual panel discussion to explore the findings of the Urban Cycling Facilities and Travel Behaviour Change research initiative: a research project on bicycling uptake in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA). The four-year study surveyed over 1,600 participants across 17 communities in urban and suburban settings, both with and without cycling facilities. Interesting and relevant findings for practitioners and advocates can be found in this piece by Nancy Smith Lea (TCAT Senior Advisor).

Registration is free and open to all! Join us to learn more as we explore the study’s data, highlight key insights, and discuss implications for environmental, population health, and safety goals.

Panellists include:

  • Becky Katz – Manager of Cycling and Pedestrian Projects, Transportation at the City of Toronto
