Workshop: Biking as Active Transportation and a Fun Way to Get Around

Join Newmarket Cycles for this exciting in-person workshop on July 14th in partnership with the Newmarket Public Library.

Riding a bike could be your new favourite way to travel to work, school, your friend’s house or to run errands. This workshop will help you learn about the benefits and challenges of biking to get from point A to point B, and offer some tips and tricks to keep you riding on your commute. We will cover topics like apparel, bikes and bike maintenance, useful accessories, riding in traffic, locking your bike, and more — all with the goal of helping you safely and enjoyably get where you need to go.
